Discover the Healing Power of Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy offers a supportive space to explore emotional challenges, gain insight, and develop practical tools for managing stress, relationships, and mental health. I work primarily with university and post-secondary students who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, and relationship concerns while balancing academic and personal demands.
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your needs, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start.
Common Reasons Students Seek Therapy
- Difficulty managing ADHD symptoms such as focus, procrastination, or overwhelm
- Anxiety related to academics, performance, or the future
- Stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustionRelationship challenges, communication issues, or boundary-settingLow self-confidence or feeling stuck
- Difficulty adjusting to university or life transitions
This helps students self-diagnose and feel understood.
What This Service Helps With (Not Who You Are)
Psychotherapy is a structured, supportive process that helps you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and develop practical tools to manage them. This service is designed for university students who are feeling overwhelmed by ADHD symptoms, anxiety, or relationship difficulties and want support that feels relevant to their daily lives.
What This Therapy Focuses On
Sessions focus on helping you manage real, day-to-day challenges related to university life. Rather than only talking about problems, therapy emphasizes developing coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening relationship skills you can use outside of sessions.
The pace and focus of therapy are guided by your goals, whether that’s managing ADHD more effectively, reducing anxiety, or navigating relationships with more confidence.
Practical Details
Sessions are held virtually and provide a confidential space to talk openly about what’s been challenging. In early sessions, we’ll clarify what you want support with and identify goals. Ongoing sessions may include exploring patterns, learning coping tools, practicing communication strategies, and checking in on progress.
Therapy is flexible and adapts as your needs change over time.

Psychotherapy
A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), or RP(Q), is a regulated mental health professional registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) who has completed advanced training, typically a Master’s degree in psychotherapy or counselling, and is working toward full registration. Practitioners provide safe, ethical talk therapy using evidence-based approaches like CBT or mindfulness to help clients address emotional challenges, build coping skills, and promote well-being, all while practicing under the close supervision of a fully registered clinician.
